This is a beautifully detailed scabbard  sterling pin. This unusual pin features a case with a removable sword. 

There are 3 different cabochon stones: a fiery Moonstone (colors do not show in the photo); a small amethyst; and a small Chrysoprase,
The photos show the details of how the sword is connected to the holder. 

The pin measures 3.25"  (9 cm) long.
