This great oldie is a scarce one.  You don't see too many jointed bakelite figurals around much anymore, let alone the ethnic ones.  There was a great interest in Chinese / Asian imagery, fashion, and novelties in the 1940s.  One can find lots of costume jewelry from that era which reflects that interest. 

You can see he has some age and normal wear for a 70 year old piece of jewelry.
He has no missing pieces, or chips or crazing.
His jump rings are a bit rusty, as expected.

Very cute and interesting piece for the bakelite collector.
