Googly eyed owl pin, circa 1940s.  Heavily carved, over-dyed (resin washed) bakelite.  Beautifully executed, see photos for details of workmanship.

There is an issue with one of the eyes, it is secure, but was either chipped or damaged when carved.  She still has a lot of life left in her, in spite of this flaw.
